Quenia Abreu

Senior Advisor

Quenia is a leader dedicated to advancing women and minority entrepreneurs economically. With over two decades of experience in helping businesses succeed, she is the President and Founder of the New York Women's Chamber of Commerce (NYWCC). This nonprofit organization focuses on implementing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives to empower women and minority entrepreneurs and create intergenerational wealth.

Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New York City by a community of strong women, Quenia believes that economic empowerment is the key to ending gender and racial inequality. She founded the NYWCC in 2002, which has assisted over 30,000 entrepreneurs and helped them access capital and government procurement contracts.

Quenia is a highly respected advocate for equal business opportunities. She collaborates with government, business, and community leaders to promote the growth of women and minority-owned businesses. She played an instrumental role in passing Local Law 129 and Article 15-A, ensuring M/WBE participation in City and State projects.

Quenia serves on the boards of the NYC Jacobs Javits Center and the NYS Gaming and Casino Location Board. She holds a B.S. in Marketing and International Trade and has completed Executive Education Programs at the Chicago Graduate School of Business.
